Amanda Howery
Practicum Student 2025-2026, graduating August ‘26
Hello!Amanda received her B.A. in Psychology from Lewis & Clark College in 2022, and is currently earning her Master’s in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology at the University of Washington. Before graduate school, she worked for a research study on child neurodevelopment, conducting EEG and behavioral visits with kids ages 0-5 and their families. She joined Brave Seattle this summer as a practicum student during Brave Explorers Camp and is continuing to build her skillset and caseload as a member of our team. She also has experience as a counselor at Denver, Colorado’s selective mutism camp, and as a mental health group facilitator for college students. Collectively, Amanda has experience working with clients from infancy to young adulthood with a variety of diagnoses and needs. Drawing from these experiences, she aims for an evidence-based approach, and integrates elements of CBT, PCIT, and PCIT-SM into her treatment. Outside of Brave, she enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time outside.
I’m currently under Dr. Tracey’s supervision! Schedule an intake with her and ask to be supported by me for individual treatment!
