Hello!Amanda earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology at the University of Washington. As a practicum student at Brave, she is passionate about supporting the emotional and developmental well-being of children, adolescents, and their families. Before beginning her graduate training, Amanda gained extensive experience working with children and teens as a nanny and volunteer in preschool and elementary classrooms. She also volunteered at a youth center serving unhoused adolescents, which deepened her commitment to creating accessible and affirming spaces for youth and families. In her clinical work, Amanda values authenticity, collaboration, and connection. She strives to understand each child and family’s unique experiences while helping them build practical skills that support growth and emotional well-being. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors camping with her family, exploring local farmers markets, traveling and cooking with her daughters.
