Hello!Kaitlyn graduated from Seattle University’s MA in Couple and Family Therapy program, and has found her niche in working with children and their caregivers. Kaitlyn has a BA in Human Development, with an emphasis in Child and Youth Development. Her background is in childcare and preschool teaching, where she supported children and families in regulating big emotions, shaping positive behaviors, and forming strong relationships.
As a clinician, Kaitlyn is passionate about supporting children struggling with anxiety. Kaitlyn got involved with Brave Seattle as a practicum student, receiving training and hands on experience applying PCIT-SM to treat selective mutism. She additionally has training and clinical experience in applying CBT, ACT, ERP, and CCPT to fit the unique needs of her clients. Kaitlyn practices with a relentless belief in her client’s ability to grow and succeed. In her free time Kaitlyn enjoys spending time outside with her friends, family, and animals!
