Hola! Habla Español!

Kimberly “Kimmy” Pardo is a compassionate and insightful Behavior and Education Consultant at the UW Autism Center. She brings professional expertise and a deep personal understanding to her practice, as she is both a neurodivergent provider and a sibling to an autistic brother.

This lived experience is the driving force behind Kimmy’s dedication to her work and her passion for collaborative care. She understands the family journey firsthand, which fuels her desire to actively partner with and support families as they navigate the process of receiving services.
Kimmy received her M.Ed. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University, complementing her B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development. She has been actively supporting individuals with Autism, Anxiety disorders, ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and related disorders since 2013 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2021.
Her approach is centered on promoting connection over compliance. Kimmy uses play-based and naturalistic strategies to focus on socially significant goals, functional language, and key life skills, emphasizing the importance of a child's intrinsic motivation and led play.
Outside of her consulting work, Kimmy embraces the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys reading, creating art, and embarking on adventures with her two dogs, Dewey and Ivy.
