Hello!Aimée “Mimi” Hogan is a self identified neurodivergent artsy nerd and an OCD community advocate. She earned her master’s degree in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology from the University of Washington. Mimi completed her clinical training at Seattle Children’s Hospital Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for OCD where she provided therapy to youth and families with severe OCD and comorbid disorders. Mimi specializes in supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQIA2S+ individuals in accessing therapy for treatment of general anxiety, severe anxiety disorder/phobias and OCD. She has a strong passion for neuroaffirming care that encourages clients to discover how to utilize their strengths when problem solving.
She uses a holistic approach, honoring her client’s interests and long term goals while creatively tailoring sessions to match individual client’s treatment needs. Mimi supports client’s overall wellbeing by actively incorporating client’s values, teaching mindfulness and radical acceptance, and providing coaching in self-compassion. When not in the office, Mimi enjoys creating and appreciating any form of creative artistic expression, learning obscure animal facts, laughing with loved ones, and daydreaming about the successful growth of her various house plants.
